The Hawbaker rock train at 24:59 no longer runs. It put a devastating blow to Western New York An PA railroad. The stone is now trucked to the Hawbaker Turtlepoint PA facility.

Several questions: 1) When a train goes through a long tunnel, e.g. the Gallitzin Tunnel, how do the crew and passengers keep from being overcome by the smoke and fumes? 2) What is the purpose of letting steam off like at 4:12? 3) what is the car behind the tender used for, coal storage?

I have seen pictures of an occupied private car movement on a BNSF Z-train (I believe it was for Patrick Henry tours, whose cars are usually based in Milwaukee from what I've seen), but that is definitely the exception.

I just noticed that there are currently 365 videos on this channel, one for every day of the year in a non-leap year.
